A colourful puzzle of football lawyers from 38 countries attended the AIAF Congress in the beautiful city of Bordeaux on 5 and 6 October 2023!

Enduring issues of football law were discussed among the participants (i.e., Agents’ regulations, CAS arbitrators, the European Superleague, human rights issues, as well as football and war).

The exchange of ideas and opinions led to several useful conclusions and important questions.
Amongst other issues, the potential amendment of the Regulations was discussed, including:
– Potential amendment of art. 17 FIFA RSTP;
– Player’s pregnancy (regarding which more new, more elaborate provisions are expected);
– New regulatory steps regarding Multi-club ownership and investment (probably by UEFA);

Most importantly though, the Congress left us with beautiful moments and positive vibes between professionals connected through the same passion!
